Summer Associate Helen Evans is currently a student at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and International Politics with a concentration in International and Comparative Politics coupled with a minor in International Security.

Her passion for global peace and security grew from a five year, distinguished investment in Model United Nations both in high school and at George Mason University. Before GGS, she interned with the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. and the Swedish Institute in Visby, Sweden and Stockholm, Sweden.

Her main interests are international security, how international organizations aim to make peace a reality, and what hurdles they face in doing so. During her months at Grieboski Global Strategies, Helen has provided administrative support, represented GGS and its interests at numerous events in the think tank community and composed pieces regarding potential events to be hosted by the firm.

She remains involved on campus via her membership in Gamma Phi Beta sorority, Catholic Campus Ministry, and outside of Mason in the Thomas Nelson chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).

In her spare time, Helen finds herself downloading podcasts, on her bike, organizing her planner, browsing documentaries on Netflix, spending time with friends or out and about with family.
