Hal Donahue has years of professional experience in both the public and private sectors. He has served in the United States Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel, eventually transitioning into a career in the private sector, where he acted as Vice President for a number of major energy companies.
Through the course of his military career, Hal was stationed across Europe, Asia and the Middle East, where he served on the staff of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, as well as working in conjunction with the British Royal Air Force. Now retired from military service, Hal is a tireless advocate for veterans’ affairs, having sat on the board of several non-profits dedicated to giving a voice to veterans’ interests in American politics.
Hal’s extensive experience in foreign affairs, national security, and veterans’ affairs make him a deeply respected social commentator. He contributes regularly to The Huffington Post, where he lends his expertise on a range of social and policy issues. He and his wife of 40 years, Marg, reside in Scranton, PA and are the parents of three children. Mr. Donahue is a graduate of Colgate University with a BA in Economics and he received his MS in Administration from Central Michigan University.
