GGS Director of Engagement and Outreach as Alumni Speaker for the University of Richmond’s Jepson School of Leadership Studies’ Senior Banquet

Alexandria, VADirector of Engagement and Outreach of Grieboski Global Strategies, Olivia Dulmage was the Alumni Speaker for the University of Richmond’s Jepson School of Leadership Studies’ Senior Banquet on April 5.

The Jepson School of Leadership Studies investigates leadership as a process and a relationship among people. Students look at leadership as it was, as it is, and as it should be.

“We’re attracted to leadership because we want to be leaders or understand the methodologies and character qualities that add up to someone great,” commented Ms. Dulmage. “We want to understand ourselves and how the world works around us.”

Jepson’s faculty contributes to making leadership studies a priority in higher education worldwide. With this, Jepson students step into organizations and life after college with deeper knowledge about leading change, working through challenges, and continuously improving processes, relationships and operations.

“What I’ve settled with, informed by my studies and my brief acclimation to the post graduate world, is that leadership is about pure intentions and displaying consistency,” Ms. Dulmage continued. “Consistency breeds trust and respect and makes others want to be around you, to work with you, to invest in you.” … “[True leadership] is characterized by a conviction that transcends the situations you are placed in and demands a commonality in the way you lead your home life, your work life, and your social life.”

Ms. Dulmage was one of fifteen collegiate women at the University of Richmond honored with the Distinguished Leader Award in the Spring of 2016 and has demonstrated true leadership in both her actions and attitudes. It is with great honor to announce Ms. Dulmage’s hard work and continued successes.
