Alexandria, VA – Grieboski Global Strategies, LLC, (GGS) is proud to announce that it has joined the Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers.

The Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers consists of different actors – grassroots religious and traditional peacemakers as well as international NGOs and academic institutes – and aims to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of peace focused efforts.

The Network works to support and strengthen the positive role of religious and traditional actors in peace and peace building processes. The network focuses on long-term, local peace mediation, advocacy, trainings and research and collaboration building.

The Network also has two thematic focal areas, gender and radicalization. Gender is a crosscutting theme that integrates all of the work the Network does. Violent radicalization and extremism is another topic that the network focuses on.

“Within the context of its ‘conscience imperative’ mission and operating model, Grieboski Global Strategies is committed to peace building and reconciliation globally,” commented GGS CEO, Joseph K. Grieboski. “We are very excited to join the Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers in order to advance mutually our efforts to counter violent extremism, advance gender issues, and implement processes that guarantee social inclusion and build peace.”
